The introductory price is not the price
This is the single most important line on their pricing page, and it is easy to read past. Silver, Gold and Enterprise are advertised at introductory rates for the first six months. After that, Silver goes from $349 to $499 a month, Gold from $999 to $1,299, and Enterprise from $1,999 to $2,499.
So the Silver plan is not a $349 decision. Over the first twelve months it is six months at $349, six at $499, plus a $599 setup fee — roughly $5,687. In year two, with no introductory rate left, it is about $5,988.
Compare that to Title Engine's $99 a month for a custom 25-page website with no setup fee: $1,188 in year one, and the same $1,188 in year two, because the price you sign up at is the price you keep paying.
None of this makes their pricing unfair — introductory rates are a normal way to sell software. But run the twelve-month and twenty-four-month numbers before you sign rather than the headline monthly figure, because that is what you actually live with.
What is not published
Several things are absent from their pricing page, and each one changes the real cost of the decision. Ask for them in writing before you commit.
Contract length. Not published. If a six-month introductory rate is attached to a twelve- or twenty-four-month term, the step-up is not something you can simply leave when it arrives. This is the first question to ask.
Money-back guarantee. Not published. Title Engine publishes a 60-day guarantee.
Pages included. Not published, so there is no way to compare build scope from the website alone. Title Engine publishes 25 pages at $99 a month and 50 at $399.
Team member limits. These are published, and worth checking against your staff list: Bronze caps at 5 users and Silver at 15. An agency with a dozen processors, closers and escrow officers can outgrow the Bronze tier on headcount alone, regardless of what the website needs.
